Aura AI provides scraping, monitoring, and data tools. This page explains, in plain terms, how we approach data collection and the responsibilities that come with using it.

We work with public data

Aura focuses on publicly available information — trending products, public posts, listings, prices, hashtags, and engagement signals. We are not in the business of accessing private accounts, private messages, or non-public personal data.

What we don't do

• We don't surveil or profile private individuals
• We don't bypass authentication to reach private content
• We don't sell personal data about other people
• We don't collect data we have no legitimate use for

Your responsibilities

Aura is a tool, and how you use the data is up to you. When you use Aura, you agree to:

• Comply with the laws that apply to you and your use case
• Respect the terms of third-party platforms where they legally apply to your activity
• Avoid using the data to harass, stalk, or harm anyone
• Use the data for legitimate research, commerce, and analytics purposes

Accuracy and coverage

We work hard to keep data clean and current, but online sources change constantly. As a result:

• Coverage and refresh rates vary by source and plan
• Some signals may be delayed or missed
• Figures like growth rates and velocity are estimates, not guarantees
• You should validate high-stakes decisions against the original source

Reporting an issue

If you believe a source is being collected in a way it shouldn't be, or you spot a data problem, tell us and we'll review it. Your feedback helps us collect responsibly.

Limitation

Aura is not liable for how the data is used downstream, or for business outcomes based on it. Decisions you make with Aura data are your own.
